City of LXP

As you guys know we need to get on the map by creating a city. We have already booked our location in Poitain - it is simply a case of gathering resources and money. First of all I'd like to highlight the benefits to you. You get a place to instant travel to, and from here you can organise runs etc easily. You get a number of combat buffs and bonuses meaning that those hard quests just got a hell of a lot easier. You get a place to call your own but as of yet we can't dump loot here. We get a number of useful buildings etc, and all of these give bonuses to our crafting etc. We can build stables to improve our riding stats for example.

Anyone as you can see this will help us alot, but its gonna be a Guild wide effort... I need you all to try and do your part to get this up with me. This I believe should help - http://forums-eu.ageofconan.com/showthread.php?t=9924&highlight=City+materials

I'll help out any way i can, tho at my level (29) i hardly got access to neither money nor resources. 'less there is some place i can go at my level to get any of the materials needed?

From reading that link you posted, doesnt seem like there's any buffs implemented yet. Also seems that if we fail to build, the materials are withdrawen anyway. So make sure it'll work first

The poster states that you need 126g to build the keep, but that's including walls. We can probably just build the keep first, and get the walls built as we get more mats.

My gathering is bugged at the moment. I was able to do basic gathering quests, but after some patches I couldn't continue with the quests for rare resources. Quest givers, when I talk to them, don't offer any quests anymore. The situation is now like I can't harvest basic resources and I can't get quests either. I hope Funcom will sort this out asap, however my petition is left unanswered now.

Anyone has similar problem?

We will make sure we know what we are doing before we build, and its true that the buffs are not implemented right now. However it would still be nice to at least get the main structure up.

1190 Ash, 1840 Sandstone, 210 Silver, 580 Copper, 124G

i have about
200 ash, 100 sandstone, 40 silver, 80 copper, 24s
lol were part way there

about 70/80% done with the fathering quests atm. Only need some more copper and the rare resources, then i can start farming the mats for the keep.

again, we do not have to build the whole city at once, so we can start building stuffs and thingies as we get mats for them.

HOWEVER, after reading on the forums it seems that the GMs don't give back resources lost because of the building bug, so I reckon we should wait till it's been patched (who knows how long that will take...)

I will still collect all your mats, just /tell me ingame and we'll meet up!

no rush but ill still keep gathering when my mS is to high to fight.
